to audition for The Warm Up
The Warm Up is a city-based talent discovery series designed to spotlight emerging artists through a two-phase competition—starting with a Virtual Open Call and leading to an In-Person Audition. The top talent from each city moves on to a live finale event, where one artist earns the grand prize.
Participation in The Warm Up (the “Program”) is subject to the following eligibility requirements (the “Eligibility Requirements”). By submitting an application, all participants (“Applicants”) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these requirements. Producer reserves the right to amend, revise, or modify these Eligibility Requirements at any time, in its sole discretion.
Applicants must be legally present in the United States and possess valid documentation demonstrating the unrestricted right to work for any U.S. employer.
If required, Applicants must provide Producer with proof of such documentation, including, but not limited to:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application submission.
Proof of age and identity may be required upon request.
Applicants must submit a URL to their original released music on a publicly accessible platform (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube).
Private links will not be accepted.
While covers may be performed, originality and artistic identity are key judging factors.
The Program is open to solo artists, duos, groups, and live bands.
Acts requiring a live band setup must provide their own instrumentalists if selected for an in-person audition.
DJs and producers must be prepared to perform a live showcase using their own equipment.
All Applicants must submit a short video application introducing themselves, their artistry, and explaining why they should be selected for the Program.
Applicants must also provide a high-quality headshot for promotional and identification purposes.
Selected Applicants must be available to attend the in-person audition at All Fam Entertainment Studios (location to be provided upon selection).
Finalists must be available to perform live at the city finale event if selected.
Applicants must not be currently signed to a major record label or under any contract that would prevent participation in the Program.
Independent artists and those signed to independent labels are eligible.
Applicants must not have any contractual obligations that would interfere with their ability to perform in the Program, participate in promotional activities, or grant necessary rights to the Producer.
Submissions containing hate speech, violent threats, or excessively offensive content will be automatically disqualified.
Producer reserves the right to reject any submission that violates community standards or poses reputational risks to the Program.
Selected Applicants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs for in-person auditions and finale events.
Producer is not responsible for any travel disruptions, cancellations, or associated costs.
By submitting an application, Applicants grant True N Livin’ and All Fam Entertainment the right to use their name, likeness, voice, and submitted content for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.
Applicants agree that any performances recorded during the Program may be used in future promotional materials, broadcasts, and digital content.
Applicants must be willing to voluntarily submit to a background check in compliance with applicable laws, if requested by the Producer.
Applicants must not have any legal restrictions, prior convictions, or pending litigation that would prevent full participation in the Program.
All Applicants must read and agree to the official Terms and Conditions, which will be provided prior to participation.
Producer reserves the right to disqualify any Applicant who violates the Eligibility Requirements, fails to comply with Program rules, or engages in conduct detrimental to the Program’s integrity.
By submitting an application, Applicants affirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Eligibility Requirements in full.

This could include details about live auditions, performance expectations, or other opportunities to showcase your talent. If you don’t hear back this time, don’t be discouraged—keep grinding, refining your craft, and be ready for future opportunities!
Once your audition is reviewed, you’ll receive an email notification with your results.

This is your shot to take the stage—so let’s make sure your submission is nothing short of legendary. Your headshot and video application are your first impressions, and we want to see the artist behind the music. Follow these pro tips to put your best foot forward!
Your headshot is more than just a photo—it’s your brand. Make it count!
High-Quality Image – Use a clear, high-resolution photo (no blurry or pixelated images).
Good Lighting – Natural or well-lit spaces work best. Avoid harsh shadows or overexposure.
Simple Background – Keep it clean and uncluttered to maintain focus on you.
Face-Centered – Your face should be clearly visible—no heavy filters, hats, or sunglasses.
Authentic Expression – Show confidence, personality, and a natural look.
Avoid: Selfies, low-light images, group photos, or overly edited pictures.
Your video application is your audition—this is where you prove why you belong on The Warm Up stage!
Introduce Yourself Clearly – Start by stating your name, stage name, and hometown.
Tell Us Your Story – Briefly explain your artistry, music style, and why you should be selected.
Show Your Energy – We want to see passion, confidence, and a stage-ready presence.
Performance Preview (Optional) – Show a short clip of you performing, freestyling, or vibing to your music.
Keep It Short & Powerful – 1-2 minutes max. Get to the point with clarity and energy.
Quiet Space is Key – No background noise, barking dogs, or loud roommates playing video games.
Clear Audio – If you don’t have a mic, ensure your recording device is close enough to capture your voice.
Minimal Editing – No excessive auto-tune, reverb, or vocal enhancements. We need to hear the real you.
Check the Acoustics – Avoid rooms with too much echo. Soft surfaces (like carpets or curtains) help with sound clarity.
Frame It Right – Make sure we can see your face and expressions. No awkward angles or cut-off shots.
Keep It Steady – A shaky video is distracting. Use a tripod, stand, or secure your phone in place.
Good Lighting is Key – Make sure the light is in front of you, not behind. Natural light or a lamp works best.
Clean Background – No clutter, messy rooms, or people hanging out in the background. Keep it professional.
Headshot submitted in high-quality JPEG or PNG format.
Video application is clear, engaging, and under 2 minutes.
We can see and hear you with no distractions.
You’ve given us a reason to pick YOU!
